The Limencello Post

Sometime before our trip to Italy last year we began to develop a taste for limencello. Going to the Amalfi Coast only intensified our love for this luscious sipping beverage. And when we got back to Delaware we decided to try our hand at making it ourselves.

To date we've tried several different recipes. Our favorite is made with Tito's (yes it's better than the batches we made with Gray Goose or Everclear,) the rind AND the juice from the lemons and a mixture of both simple syrup and unfiltered honey.

Easy to make, lovely to drink.

Limoncello

We fell in love with limoncello while we were in Italy and have began making it ourselves. This was our first batch, which was very good. But our second batch is even better. For a drink that only has 4 ingredients its amazing how much little differences in the recipe can improve the taste.
(No, not giving away my limoncello making secrets here!)
